Cimetrix Presentation at APCM Europe

Alan Weber, Director of Value-Added Products at Cimetrix will present Fingerprinting and FDC: First Cousins in the Equipment Productivity Family on Monday, April 15.

Over the past 5 years, fingerprinting (also known as equipment health monitoring) has evolved into a well-defined application in the semiconductor manufacturing productivity portfolio.

There is some confusion about the distinctions between fingerprinting and FDC (fault detection and classification), often because of the similarities between data required and analysis methods used for both. However, the differences are also significant and key to understanding the unique nature and value of fingerprinting for semiconductor OEMs and device makers alike. The objective of this presentation is to explain this relationship.
