The Equipment Client Connection Emulator (ECCE) is a fully functional Equipment Data Acquisition (EDA) client with a very easy to use Graphical User Interface. As an EDA client, ECCE can communicate with web services that comply to the SEMI Interface A (EDA) standards E125, E132 and E134. ECCE also implements the required consumer web service for receiving messages from the Interface A web services.
Cimetrix developed ECCE under contract by ISMI (International SEMATECH Manufacturing Initiative). Feature requirements were provided by ISMI member companies. There are two primary versions of ECCE. Both versions run on the Windows operating systems.
| ECCE v1 | This is the original version of ECCE which supports ISMI EDA Freeze version 1, also known as the 1105 version of the EDA standards. |
| ECCE v2 | This is a new version developed in 2011 to support the second ISMI EDA Freeze version, also known as the 0710 version of the EDA standards. As additional features, ECCE v2 also support the 1105 version of the EDA standards and includes an equipment simulator. |
ECCE is available on request to qualifying companies for no charge. Qualifying companies include ISMI Member Companies, equipment suppliers, and third party software providers.
