Cimetrix Exhibits New Tool Control & EDA Solutions at
SEMICON Japan 2008
SALT LAKE CITY, UT - November 21, 2008 - Cimetrix, Incorporated (OTC: CMXX), a leading provider of factory automation and equipment connectivity software solutions for the global semiconductor, photovoltaic, and electronics industries, will exhibit at the upcoming SEMICON Japan in December.
At the exhibition, Cimetrix will be presenting information on its latest solutions for the semiconductor industry. Two key offerings for the Japanese market are the Company’s CIMPortal™ product and the new CIMControlFramework™ tool control software product. CIMPortal software is a high-speed data collection product that enables advanced tool data collection and simple implementation of the Equipment Data Acquisition (EDA) standards, also known as Interface A. CIMControlFramework, a .NET-based software framework that provides supervisory control, substrate handling, and factory automation functionality, is targeted at advanced 300mm semiconductor equipment. Both solutions focus on data collection, storage, management, and analysis.
