Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Use Cimetrix SDK products to build complete application solutions for customers to solve automation problems in the electronic manufacturing domain.
- Provide support services to existing products to enhance their solutions built on Cimetrix products.
- Participate in iterative development process with cross-functional team (Development, Tech Support, QA, Documentation, Marketing)
- Perform activities such as collaborative coding, unit testing, and compliance with coding standards to enhance quality of produced software.
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience developing application software or components for Windows applications to solve industry/business problems in a team development environment.
- At least 12 months recent experience in doing the above using .NET (2.0 or better) and C# (3.0 or better).
- At least 12 months experience as a contractor/consultant providing software development services to external customers.
Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities
- Strong fundamental understanding of Object Oriented design principles
- Excellent design and coding skills using C#, Java, C++, or equivalent
- Excellent knowledge of Windows application development (.NET WCF)
- Desire and ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
- Fast learner. Willing and able to quickly get up to speed with new technologies and skills
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
