Product Training & Application Assistance
Many equipment suppliers have previous expertise in equipment automation and can use Cimetrix products and training to do the integration themselves. Cimetrix provides training one customer at a time to protect the customer's intellectual property (IP) and help with unique requirements. Training is typically tailored to also include application design assistance that leverages Cimetrix's experienced professional services staff.

The Cimetrix OEM Solution Center is experienced in providing turnkey projects using a proven methodology. Solutions are tailored to unique customer requirements and leverage the proven Cimetrix CIM300Expert™ based solutions.
Factory Automation Outsourcing
Some equipment suppliers are executing an outsourcing strategy to leverage the Cimetrix OEM Solution Center to handle all aspects of factory automation from the development of the initial automation solution, to direct integration and support of the solution in the fabs as an integrated part of the equipment supplier's team.
300mm Software Integration Services
Many Cimetrix customers purchase CIM300 as an off-the-shelf product and implement the 300mm standards. Others purchase the CIM300Expert services when the software is compatible the equipment's hardware and software architecture. However, some customers need a fully custom 300mm solution completely tailored specifically for their machine but don't have the time, resources, and/or experience to do this without assistance. Cimetrix offers a wide range of services and consultation to meet this demand. Cimetrix will provide as little as a few days of consultation and advanced training to help customers start with a great design. Cimetrix will also provide extensive custom software that involves minimal customer resources to complete the 300mm interface.
SECS/GEM Integration Services
Many factories can attest to the fact that not all SECS/GEM interfaces are created equal. Some are quite exceptional by providing all of the expected data gathering, process control, and recipe management functionality. Others provide dismal and disappointing implementations that are relatively useless--resulting in significant rework, lost sales, and lost time. While the SECS/GEM standards provide an excellent foundation for equipment interfaces, it certainly does not guarantee that the equipment supplier will meet factory expectations by providing a useful and thorough implementation. Cimetrix provides the opportunity for equipment suppliers to benefit from its engineering experience to ensure the factory's satisfaction.
Many Cimetrix customers purchase CIMConnect as an off-the-shelf product to implement the SECS/GEM standards. However, some customers have very tight time schedules, limited resources and/or no experience with these standards; therefore Cimetrix provides integration services bundled with the CIMConnect product. For first-time SECS/GEM interfaces and even first time CIMConnect users, this can be the most cost effective solution. It allows customers to implement a first class SECS/GEM interface the first time and to establish a solid framework and example for other machines, future projects, and future versions.
