Cimetrix's Brian Rubow Succeeds Intel's Bill Miller
as Co-Chair of SEMI DDA Taskforce
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah - December 20, 2007 - Cimetrix, Inc. (OTC BB: CMXX), a leading provider of SEMI Connectivity Standards software solutions to the global semiconductor and electronics industries, announced today that Brian Rubow, one of its principal engineers, has been appointed to Co-Chair the SEMI Diagnostic Data Acquisition (DDA) Task Force. The Task Force spearheads the development and global acceptance of key Equipment Data Acquisition (EDA) SEMI standards also known as Interface A. These standards play a key role in the semiconductor manufacturing process. Rubow succeeds Intel's Bill Miller and will share leadership of the Task Force with Harvey Wohlwend of the International SEMATECH Manufacturing Initiative (ISMI).

Rubow holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters of Science degree in Manufacturing Engineering from Brigham Young University. He has been a principal engineer at Cimetrix since June of 1993 and a software programmer since 1988. He has been working with the SEMI standards since 1995 and has been instrumental in the Company's development of EDA software solutions.
